Featured Vermont Equestrian Properties
Vermont's rural nature, rolling hills, wonderful climate, and incredible scenery make it a haven for horse farms and equestrian property. In fact, the state of Vermont leads all states in equestrian interest with the leading ratio of people to horses at 18:1.
At the center of Vermont's equestrian community is Woodstock and the Green Mountain Horse Association. The Green Mountain Horse Association, located in South Woodstock, was founded in 1926 to promote the use of horses, provide facilities for horse shows and activities, and develop and maintain bridle trails in Vermont. The Green Mountain Horse Association, today, is the nation's oldest continuously operating horse association. It is located in the heart of Vermont's equestrian trail system and in one of the most picturesque communities in the country.
